Six years have passed since the successful activation of the five Jamal-Keys. The dimension transfer of the Parasite Galaxy was ultimately prevented by an unknown power, of which there is little known except the name: Nebular.

Vasina of Atlantika complies with a request from the Solar Union and flies with her flagship to Scutum Crux to explore remnants of the Parasite Galaxy – the Sacrificial Suns.

Having arrived in the unknown starfield, the Atlantika advances into an extensive solar system. The eerie enemy from the past awaits the expedition with a carrier ship of the Dark Brotherhood. It comes down to the fight for life and death. The Progonauts win the battle and fend off the attack of a Kokrader infected with parasitic or degenerate technology.

On Zorgoss-VII, reconnaissance teams make a confusing find. The surface of this world is covered with broken, burnt-out, and corroded torsos of former Techno-Clerics. The lifeless spheres are a mystery and give ride to the name of the planet. All crew members of the Atlantika henceforth speak of the Graveyard of the Techno-Clerics.

With the spheres, the mysterious discoveries are not exhausted. The crumbling wreckage of an ancient Neo-Hawk, estimated to be over 900,000 years old, is discovered beneath the planet's surface. The place of discovery is not far from the landing site of the expedition team. An initial examination of the artifact leaves the expedition team perplexed since it is the same Hawk used by the expedition team to land on Zorgoss-VIII. Evidence points to a fatal time loop.

Before this eerie phenomenon can be investigated, the blue central star becomes a supernova. Techno-Cleric 40028 reports that the unknown force Nebular is responsible for the collapse of the blue giant. The HOT specialists have no choice but to flee from the destructive effect of the exploding star. Before that, the space travelers succeed in scanning a conspicuous marking on the still intact ship's armor of the wreckage. Vasina of Atlantika presents this sequence of symbols to the Conceptor in the Crux Heart for identification.

Conceptor Crux can read and decode the symbols. It is a set of Genorantan coordinates, pointing to a cluster of stars more than 400,000 lightyears away – the Hercules Dwarf Galaxy. Vasina asks Conceptor Crux to engrave the symbols found on the artifact into the armor of the Hawk to complete the time loop. The fear of interrupting the passage of time and creating a paradox is too great. Shortly after that, the crew of the Progonaut flagship sets off for the Dwarf Galaxy.

At the same time, as a desperate battle is being fought in the Solar System against a Guardian of the Continuum, the Atlantika is on its long flight to Wokquar, as the Hercules Dwarf Galaxy is called in the Progonaut star maps. As usual on such missions, the ship's commanding officers proceed with extreme caution. Vasina and her commander expect everything when exploring the unknown star island, but not the Star Twin.
